With Get a Newsletters WordPress plugin, you can easily get more people to subscribe to your newsletter. No need to import or be logged in to the tool. All you need to do is add a form to your website and wait for the subscribers to roll in.
Step 1: Add the Get a Newsletter Plugin
To add the Get a Newsletter plugin, follow the steps below:
Log in to your website.
Click "Plugins" > "Add New" and then search for getanewsletter.
Click “Install now”
Click on “Activate”
When the plugin is activated, you will come to the page for all extensions that you have installed. You should also see Get a Newsletter in the left menu.
The first time you add a form, you need an API key. You can create the API key by clicking on the profile icon on the far right in your Get a Newsletter account “Profile” > "API" > "Create API token".
When the API key is created, copy what is under “Copy API token”.
Once you have the API key, follow the steps below to link your Get a Newsletter account with your website.
Click on "Get a Newsletter" (which you will find in the left menu)
Paste the API key that you had copied from the tool (you only need to do this once)
Once you have pasted the API key, you will be redirected to a page with the forms available. On this page you can edit or create new forms.
Step 2: Add forms to your website
Once you have added the plugin and copied the API key, you can create and add forms to your website.
To add a form, follow the steps below:
Click on "Appearance" > "Widgets"
Below Available Widgets, look for the Get a Newsletter widget.
When you find the widget, drag the widget to where you want to place the form.
Here you can type a heading, choose what list the subscriber should end up on and what you wish the register-button to say.
Click on “Save”
Nicely done. Now you should be able to view the form on your website.
